2013年保定市、安国市政府与天士力集团签订建设安国数字化中药都项目合作协议，2014年5月，安国数字中药都举行了奠基仪式，目前新市场还在建设中，尚未启用，我们只看到了一些外观。

老市场东方药城的交易大厅，和亳州市场类似，早上八点开门，十一点关门。受下雨影响，今天没有开门，周边的门面房人气也低落，不似亳州药市繁华。
