近期本站工作人员对江西宜春吴茱萸产区进行一番前期调研：吴茱萸每年农历三四月份开花，六月份开始批量产新，由于近几年工值过高，劳动力匮乏，加之吴茱萸产值低，种植户疏于管理，田地里杂草丛生，树木虫害较严重。
